Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that a user is under 16, we will terminate the account and delete associated data promptly.

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@goovo.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for more than 12 months.

Goovooffers a premium subscription ("Goovo Pro") that provides enhanced features such as increased GP earning rates and exclusive rewards.

• Billing: Goovo Pro is billed through Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). We do not process payments directly.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

You agree not to:

• Manipulate, falsify, or artificially inflate step counts or GP balances.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users through the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, forfeiture of GP, and potential legal action.

The leaderboard displays usernames and GP earned for the current month. By participating, you consent to your username and GP balance being visible to other users. If you prefer not to appear on the leaderboard, you may contact us to opt out.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are owned byGoovo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Apple HealthKit, Health Connect, RevenueCat, and Supabase. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Goovo is a wellness and rewards app, not a medical device. Step data and activity metrics are approximate and should not be relied upon for medical decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goovo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Profile → My Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@goovo.app. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, and any unredeemed GP will be forfeited. Certain data may be retained as required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Cyprus.
